SIGH SIGH SIGH.
we got silver.
for syf.
i have nothing much else that i can say, except that, we did our best, and thats what counts.
obviously all of us were very disappointed,
but whats done is done, and the results are just a second thing
cos the process is the most impt and knowing that we did our best.
the choir comm gave a very inspiring speech,
and everyone started crying,
i think i cried for one hour or sth,
my eyes hurt so bad, and its swollen.
but i just wanted to let it out after all the choir comm said to us,
they said, "choir, we just wanna say that we are a family and will always be,
no matter where we are, our hearts will always be here, and we all love u guys very much,
and even though we might now show it, we feel that way"
or sth like that.
that made me cry even more.
and
i just wanna say a few words:
during the whole SYF training process,
i thought:' another day of torturous training,
nvm, i will bear with it till syf is over."
and i didnt exactly look foward to the practices,
but as time passed,
i got so attached to choir, that it sort of became a
"part of me"
everytime ppl will ask me:" what u staying back for?"
and i'll always reply:" choir!"
its always a standard ans.
i spent so much time practicing and growing as a choir,
it let me reflect on all that i've done.
and yesterday, i just sang my heart out,
and i really really enjoyed myself up there,
and i think that smss choir sounded the best.
there's a feeling of emptiness in me now,
like, i dont have to stay back as often,
and when ppl ask me, i cant say i have choir.
and it hit me how much i love choir.
and that no matter what, i'll definitely miss the seniors,
and this whole experience.
now i know how it feels like,
i swear that when its my turn in sec4,
we'll get a gold for the seniors to show that they've trained us well(:
and sunday was the last practice we had with them,
its sad, but there's always a time to move on.
and i'm sure the sec4s will nv forget us too
we'll miss you guys):

i shall not elaborate further,
but just to say that i really enjoy singing in choir,
ms grace even though being tough, she wants the best for us,
so i wanna say a big thank you to the sec4s, teachers and ms grace and GOD for being there.
"You'd do anything to keep the ones you love by your side,
but unfortunately there is a time when you have to let them go"
